Wooing investors with a more efficient Sogip

SIPITANG: State Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship (Mide) Phoong Jin Zhe and several Sipitang community leaders are committed to making the Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (Sogip) one of the main assets in attracting foreign investments.Phoong said this was in addition to developing the economic and industrial hub of the State and the district, in particular, to achieve the Excellent Achievement Quality Standard in line with the Sabah Maju Jaya development plan.

This commitment was signed unanimously during a visit and briefing session at Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park (Sogip), last Saturday, led by Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporate (SOGDC) CEO, Datuk Harun Ismail, and witnessed by MIDE Permanent Secretary Datuk Thomas Logijin.
The session started with a briefing on current developments and the main plan that will improve Sogip operations.
It ended with a brainstorming consultation between Phoong, Sipitang MP Datuk Matbali Musah, Qhazanah Sabah Berhad Chairman who is also Sindumin Assemblyman, Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob and Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister who is also Lumadan Assemblyman, Datuk Haji Ruslan Muharam.
