TAWAU: The State Government’s investor-friendly policies bring positive effects and opportunities for cooperatives as well, said Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.

He requested the cooperative movement in Sabah to continue empowering themselves by increasing competitiveness, seizing available economic opportunities and working hard together in making changes towards the transformation of the State.

According to him, until last September, Sabah secured a total of RM11.9 billion in foreign investments and RM942 million in domestic investments within a two-year period.
