MENUMBOK: The Mobile Agro Bank held its first operation in Menumbok Sub-district since early this month.“It operates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday,” its Branch Manager Norazilah Mohd Salleh told the Daily Express.

She said they opened the Mobile Agro Bank at the beginning of the month at the parking lot opposite Seman Hall.
The bank would offer services to customers in terms of opening accounts and facilitating loans while an ATM machine on Agro bank’s lorry would also be available, she said.
“People are pleased with the opening of this mobile bank, especially in Menumbok and it is the first of its kind here,” Norazilah said. In the past, they had to go to Beaufort to withdraw or bank in their money.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Club on Industrial Lines Small Medium (KUATIKS) Henry Ongging said he would collaborate with Mobile Agro Bank to carry out activities during the Small Medium Industry guest reception at Menumbok Sentral new site soon.

“During the IKS Night there will be opportunities for entrepreneurs to apply for loans or withdraw and bank in money,” he said
IKS open reception is meant for local traders local and give business opportunities to SMI Entrepreneurs since Menumbok is the gateway to Labuan FT and only 400 metres from the Ferry Pier.
