Hoping no delay on RM1 billion for CIQS Complex
Andi Muhammad, who is also Kalabakan MP, said that he does not want the country’s border to be left behind from the flow of development.
TAWAU: The RM1 billion allocated by the Federal Government for the construction of Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Security (CIQS) Complex in Serudung and Jalan Serudung-Kalabakan, it is hoped be channelled soon as possible so that the project can be implemented soonest.

Assistant Minister of Industrial Development Datuk Andi Muhammad Suryady Bandy said that the allocation was announced by Home Affairs Minister (KDN) during the recent Parliament session.

He said having the allocation is to enable implementation of the project to be materialised soon.
