KOTA KINABALU: Two people were soaked after their Kancil car fell into a monsoon drain at Taman Milek Perkasa, here, Saturday. The duo, both in their 20s, were said to be heading towards City Mall direction from Lido when the driver lost control of the car at 1.15pm.
The Kancil crashed into the driver's side of an Axia that was also travelling the same way. The Axia driver escaped uninjured.

The Kancil was thrown into the monsoon drain as a result of the impact.
The Kancil driver and passenger who managed to climb out of the monsoon drain escaped unscathed but drenched.

Traffic police from Kota Kinabalu was called to the location to investigate.
