RANAU: A male Mt Kinabalu climber had to be carried down following a fall on Thursday.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief PPgB Ridwan Bin Mohd Taib said the incident happened in km 3.3, Pondok Mempening, at about 1 pm.
“We received a call from the Malim Gunung about the incident through the Station Line at 1.15pm and deployed a unit of Mount Kinabalu Search and Rescue Team (Mosar) personnel led by Operations Commander, PBB Rubby James to the scene.
