Elopura Assemblyman, Calvin Chong, who welcomed the efforts of local authorities in dealing with environmental issues said efforts to reduce the use of plastic bags should be implemented in all places and not just in supermarkets.

He found that not all supermarkets in each district charge 20 sen for each plastic bag, except in Sandakan.
