Kinabatangan singer hopes new single will get good response

SANDAKAN: A rising singer hailing from Kinabatangan, Sairin Abd Rahman, hoped that his new debut single titled “Irama Jiwa” would be well received by listeners.He said his musical stint came out of the blue when he suddenly received a call from StudioOne Talent here to record the song, which was composed by himself and Wan Khatulistiwa.

Sairin wrote the lyrics while the music was arranged by Wan Khatulistiwa and Mohd Nizam Dzulkifli.
He said he had never thought of making a song but after reaching the studio, his heart was moved to try something new in life.
“Thankfully, after being given the opportunity to sing a song that I had thought of singing, this song came out.
“In conclusion, it was also after Wan Khatulistiwa stated that I had the talent to make a single and this motivated me take up the challenge even though I had no intention at the beginning,” he told Daily Express.

He said he was inspired to create the song based on the turmoil of a troubled soul and its rhythm with nature, which led to the creation of the song “Irama Jiwa” (Rhythm of The Soul).
Sairin said his work received the full support and encouragement of his wife, Norsyamsilah Milam, who was his closest confidant and main source of motivation.

“Besides that, my good friend, a musician who is no stranger to Achok, also helped me in the process of making my demo,” he said.
Sairin also wants to jointly enliven the entertainment industry, especially songs and music in Sabah as well as at the national level.
“Thank you to the production team for my debut song project, especially StudioOne Talent who gave me the opportunity to work together to make this dream come true.
“Similarly to all families, friends, not forgetting the media, especially RTM, SandakanFM, Tawau FM, KeningauFM,Sabah FM, Era Sabah, not forgetting online radio friends SiukFM, Serangkai FM, BruneiFM who have always supported every piece of work that is produced,” he said.
