Kota Kinabalu: A man in Singapore won a lottery using numbers he got from an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot recently, it has been reported.

Aaron Tam shared on TikTok how he had asked ChatGPT for a set of seven numbers for the May 4 Toto draw and the bot gave him 12, 21, 28, 36, 42, 44 and 47, AsiaOne reported.

The winning numbers turned out to be 37, 21, 28, 44, 16, 25 and an additional number 24.

“His winning ticket showed that Tan had bought System 7, hitting a total of three numbers on the head and netting him a $40 cash prize — not a windfall for sure, but still, not bad,” reported the social news site.
