PAPAR: A new hostel building of the only Chinese independent secondary school here, Papar Middle School, has been named as the “Building of Datin Seri Panglima Chen Si Mui”, the beloved mother of Parklane City developer cum philanthropist Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen.

The four-storey building costing RM3.5 million, which is almost completed, can house 96 students and was named after Susan’s mother who always emphasised and believed that education is very important.
ADVERTISEMENT Susan, who is also the WSG Group Managing Director, donated half a million ringgit towards the construction of the new hostel building and even built about 200-metre sealed road from the school up to the hostel built on hilly area in the school compound.
