Juil quits KDM, supports State government
KOTA KINABALU: Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Rakyat (KDM) Deputy President Datuk Juil Nuatim (pic) confirmed his exit from the party to support the State government.

The Limbahau Assemblyman told the Daily Express that his intentions had reached the ears of Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at an open house event in Papar on Saturday.

"(KDM President) Datuk Peter Anthony and I have no gripes. We are brothers, and he understands.

"It is just that Limbahau will continue to be underdeveloped without funding...it is better to be with the government in line with the Papar MP.

"Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) does not want to absorb KDM, and that is okay," he said today.

Reluctant in stating the exact numbers, he said all Papar KDM division chiefs and committee members would be joining him in the wait as independents.

Juil said replacing his position could be Peter's son.

KDM is left with Peter (Melalap) and Datuk Wetrom Bahanda (Bandau) as assemblymen.
