TAMBUNAN: A 20,000-acre commercial farm is one of the efforts to increase agricultural yield in the district here.
Deputy Chief Minister I and Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan said there are 39 to 40 grazing fields around Tambunan which can be one big farm for cultivating commercial crops.

“In addition, we have also identified an area in Solibog that provides facilities for the Rural Development Cooperative (KPD) and suitable as the first agricultural produce collection centre in Tambunan,” he said when officiating the 2023 Tambunan District Level Kaamatan Festival Celebration at Pisompuruan Open House, here, recently.
Jeffrey also said a pilot project known as TVWS would be implemented to improve internet coverage in the district.
“We will develop a new internet access system called TVWS, which is to fill the empty space called white space on the television network by including internet access.
