Kota Kinabalu: Penampang Darkhorse won the four-corner Sabah Open Above 60’s Football Tournament held in Keningau Sports Complex on Sunday.Dark Super 60’s, West Coast Legend Super 60’s, Interior Super 60’s FC and Pantai Barat Super 60’s were the other participants in the one-day competition organised by Sabah United Super 60’s FC.

The champions showed their mettle by winning all the three matches with 11 goals scored and without conceding any.
They opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over West Coast Legends followed by hammering Pantai Barat Super 60’s FC 8-0 before the 1-0 victory over Interior Super 60’s FC in the final match.
Meanwhile, the top scorer award went to Jospin Gata from West Coast Super 60’s Legend with five goals and the oldest player in the tournament was 70-year-old Karim Ansaroi from Interior Super 60’s FC.
The inaugural tournament was organised by Sabah United Super 60’s FC, and organiser Ree Rahim Ahmad thanked the participating teams and fans for their support.
