Its head Ramash Rasnan said a total of 856 premises were inspected throughout the State on Wednesday night.

“Among the premises inspected were restaurants where a total of 103 compounds were issued, airports involving 40 notices, premises owners who failed to display no smoking signs, vehicles, buildings (12 notices), shopping centres (eight notices) and outlet owners who failed to ensure that no one smoked in their premises (three notices).
