Star City project to resume in July: Jamawi
According to Jamawi, the KK One project will comprise a 58-storey building, a six-storey shopping mall, a hotel and residential units.
PAPAR: Construction works on the controversial Star City project in the State Capital, which will be revived and redeveloped as “KK One”, are expected to commence in July.

Discussions and negotiations among the three parties involved – Sabah Urban Development Corporation (SUDC) as land owner, some 200 buyers under Pekestra (Star City Buyers Association) and new China developer Fusun International Holding Ltd – have resulted in a win-win situation for the project rebranded as KK One.

SUDC Chairman Jamawi Jaafar, who disclosed this Sunday, said the demolition of the existing structure would be carried out soon after majority of the old buyers have agreed to the win-win solution.
