‘Beware of iron grating’ warning to Sipitang motorists

SIPITANG: Road users plying the road leading to Kampung Mengalong and Banting are urged to practice caution, said motorist Sani Miasin.
He said the iron grating in the middle of the road might cause an accident if vehicles ran into it in the evening due to limited visibility. The contractor failed to put up signs such as reflectors to warn motorists.

Meanwhile, the Muslim cemetery in Sungai Tiga is prone to flooding due to the road construction.
“This is because the construction of the new road is without any drainage and this will cause over flood water to overflow to the cemetery ground,” he said.
The contractor is urged to build a drainage.
