Classic Head is tipped to be involved in a three-cornered thriller.
Kota Kinabalu: Racing fans will likely bear witness to an exhilarating three-cornered thriller in Tambalang tomorrow (Sunday).
Three of Tambalang’s best Class 2 thoroughbreds, Blarney Blink, Messi and Classic Head, are expected to do battle over 1400m on turf track at 5.05pm.

With his recent drop to Class 2, Blarney Blink, ever diligent and hardworking type, looks a distinct possibility to clinch this race.
However, Messi, in good shape and form, may have a major say in this contest. He had finished a strong second behind Zack (since promoted to Class 1) in a Class 2 race on July 16.
Patiently building up for this fight, Classic Head is another proper contender with credentials and a legitimate claim to this race.
Another eye-catching race is the Golong Handicap run over 1000m on sand track at 4.05pm. With a “crowded” line-up of 14 locally-bred horses, it is a race too close to call.

Amongst the favourites are Wa Wa, Vitality Lady, Puteri Seroja and the aptly-named Fight Again. “Darkhorse” Apin Apin Prince, a speedy type, has a more than fair chance as well given the short distance of 1000m.
Besides local racing, fans can head over to Tambalang Racecourse or Royal Sabah Turf Club's Off-Course centres in Tanjung Aru or Keningau for live racing action from Singapore as well. Further, Keningau centre welcomes race-goers on this date with a spread of delightful food and beverages “on the house”.

The first Singapore race starts at 12pm while local race starts at 1.35pm.
