SANDAKAN: Sandakan has great potential in agro tourism, said Agriculture and Food Security Deputy Minister Chan Foong Hin.
He said the district which is rich in seafood resources is able to attract both local and international tourists.

“The soft crab, grouper and mussel enterprises by local entrepreneurs in Kg Bambangan and other agro enterprises located near Sepilok Laut are capable of attracting tourists to this district,” he said after visiting the Mangrove Crab Breeding Project, Breeding and Selling Mangrove Crabs (Hard and Soft Skin) in Kampung Bambangan, on Wednesday.
Also present was Sabah Farmers Organisation Board Director Hadriyani Ahmad.
