PENAMPANG: The Keehoi MalaysiaKu concert celebrates the plurality of ethnic languages while injecting the spirit of patriotism and love for Malaysia.
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister, Datuk Ewon Benedick, said the delivery of the national message through the concert featuring artists with songs in various local languages is a uniqueness whose strength and effectiveness cannot be denied.

“Furthermore, the Keehoi Malaysiaku Concert organised by SABAHVfm also approached listeners through the involvement of announcers from Kadazan, Dusun, Murut and Bajau language broadcasts to promote the shows.
“A programme like this can strengthen unity among us who are multiracial in parallel to Core Values-Sustainability in Civilised Malaysia to achieve a balanced quality of life based on Malaysia’s unique image based on local knowledge and wisdom.
“Therefore, I am confident that the government at both the federal and state levels will always, and will continue to support the organisation of programmes like this in the years to come,” he said while attending the Keehoi Malaysiaku Concert at Buhavan Square, Donggongon, recently.
The concert, produced by the Malaysian Broadcasting Department (RTM) Sabah, invites the public to appreciate and appreciate the meaning of independence regardless of race or religion in line with the theme of this year’s National Day and Malaysia Day celebration which is “Malaysia Madani: Resolve to Unite, Fulfill Hope”.

The two-hour concert featured Francis Landong, Rosario Bianis, Elyia Guntabid, Afiezal Fahmi Inggu and Jaidy Kamlun@Lobo and featured the SABAHVfm presenter duo.
Also present were Member of the National Assembly, Senator Datuk John Ambrose, Director of Sabah Broadcasting, Salmah Hashim, Penampang District Officer, Francis Chong and Penampang District Police Chief, Superintendent Sammy Newton.
