Kerajaan digesa elak buat perubahan tergesa-gesa

Tangau berkata demikian sebagai respons kepada advokasi berterusan 10 Pertubuhan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO) Islam yang menggesa pindaan ke atas Perlembagaan dengan segera.
Kota Kinabalu: Rakyat Malaysia mesti menyokong Perlembagaan Persekutuan 1963 sementara kerajaan perlu mengelakkan perubahan secara tergesa-gesa, kata Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau.
Ahli Parlimen Tuaran itu berkata dalam dunia yang sentiasa berkembang, seseorang tidak boleh memandang rendah terhadap kerapuhan kelestarian negara.
“Riwayat sejarah telah menyaksikan pembubaran sekurang-kurangnya tiga negara - Kesatuan Soviet, Yugoslavia, dan Czechoslovakia-sama ada melalui pemisahan secara aman atau peperangan,” katanya.
