Kota Kinabalu: The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) Malaysia is set to redefine the Malaysian business landscape with an exciting showcase of six diverse food clusters at the upcoming Mini Thailand event in Sabah which is scheduled from September 21-24, 2023.  

A total of 74 booths with 88 brands will make their debut here. These categories, comprising Food and Beverage (44 brands), Smart Farming (4 brands), Food Innovation (10 brands), Lifestyle Products (19 brands),  Bio- Circular-Green & Go Green (7 brands), and Food Processing (4 brands) will demonstrate their transformative potential for businesses in Malaysia.

Food and Beverage: This cluster promises a tantalizing gastronomic journey. At the Mini Thailand event, attendees will be treated to a symphony of Thai and Malaysian flavors, showcasing the vast opportunities for cross-cultural culinary collaborations and culinary tourism.

Smart Farming: Recognizing the significance of sustainable agriculture, the Smart Farming cluster will shine a spotlight on advanced farming practices. It will highlight how precision agriculture, digitalization, and sustainable farming can elevate productivity, promote food security, and invigorate Malaysia's agribusiness sector.

Food Innovation: From pioneering plant-based alternatives to eco-friendly packaging solutions, the event will unveil groundbreaking concepts that can revolutionize Malaysia's food industry and meet the evolving demands of discerning consumers.
