SANDAKAN: The capital relocation of Indonesia known as Nusantara in East Kalimantan from Jakarta next year will further develop the good economic relations between the two countries, especially in Sabah.
The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Kota Kinabalu, Rafail Walangitan, said the relationship between Malaysia and Indonesia is very strong.

He added, coupled with the geographic factor of being very close to Sabah, business and investment opportunities will also continue to grow with the move of the Indonesian capital.
He said Indonesia is also very much looking forward to the economic growth in the district and it can also contribute to the development of the country’s capital
