NABAWAN: Follow-up action have been taken following the natural disaster that befell the residents of Kampung Salinatan here, said Pensiangan MP Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup.
The Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said the District Officer went to the location with the technical team to review the current situation in addition to preparing a report on the damage and estimated costs required for the repair work.

As a result of a survey by the District Officer, it was found that there was damage to the road on Panabaan-Pensiangan road which was caused by a natural disaster due to unexpected heavy rain.
According to him, this has resulted in landslides in several locations along the road inaccessible by all types of vehicles.
