Kunak plea for more ATMs

“As a community leader, I personally suggest that the local authority or the banking department add the number of ATMs or at least have such facilities installed in other premises for the convenience of the public,” Abdul Lahil said in an interview with Daily Express.
KUNAK: Residents wants banks in the district to add more Automated Teller Machines (ATM).
Kampung Kunak Tiga Community Leader Panglima Abdul Lahil Sarail said the growing number of bank customers in the area, especially those working in public and private sectors, are really hoping for such facilities which are currently available in Maybank and Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN)
“There are only two ATMs and one cash deposit machine in Maybank, while BSN has an ATM and a cash deposit machine,” he said.
He said that this makes it challenging for bank customers, especially on salary day each month when queues sometimes get so long they extend outside the bank’s premises.
