Kota Kinabalu: Sips, a bar from Barcelona, Spain has taken the number one spot at The World’s 50 Best Bars list 2023. 

Sips was named The World's Best Bar during the live awards ceremony in Singapore recently. This was also the first time the World's Best Bars list ceremony was held in Asia.

The bars that made the list this year consists of 28 cities from around the world.

Bars from Asia that made this year’s list include Bangkok’s BKK Social Club (No. 13), Singapore’s Jigger & Pony (No.14), Hong Kong’s COA (No.20) and Argo (No.34), Seoul’s Zest (No.18) and Tokyo's The SG Club (No.36) among others.
