Mosar attends to sick woman climber

RANAU: The Mount Kinabalu search and rescue team (Mosar) attended to a 42-year-old local woman who suffered illness while scaling Mount Kinabalu on Friday.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief, PPgB Ridwan Bin Mohd Taib, said the incident happened at Km 6 Laban Rata of the Mount Kinabalu climbing trail, at about 11.50am.

“We received a call through the Station Line and a team of two personnel and six from Mosar led by the Operation Officer, PB Reason Justin rushed to the scene.

“When the team arrived at the location situated 500 metres from the Mosar post, we found that there was a climber injured in the leg and could not continue.
