Kota Kinabalu: Sabah only recorded 28 per cent of students in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem) stream, said State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif.
"Concerned about this issue, the Ministry is committed to implementing various initiatives and programmes to cultivate Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) to encourage students, including rural students, to venture into Stem," he said during the question-and-answer session at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, Monday.
