LAHAD DATU: The extraordinary commitment and service of a nurse at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu) at the Lahad Datu Hospital who died at 33 inspires others to continue her passion in serving the local community.
Born on June 15, 1989, Nurse Sharifah Khalilah or better known as “Kak Baby” has been regarded as a very special individual at the Lahad Datu Hospital.
She died due to a blood clot in her lungs. She left behind two children.
Her passing on May 28 was a great loss, felt by the Paediatrics Department and the whole hospital.
