Kota Kinabalu: Sabah police seized 9,000 kilograms of dried sea turtle meat believed to be slain from 12,000 sea turtles among other dried endangered marine species worth RM4.5 million from a trawler in Kudat.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said four men onboard the trawler managed to escape in the 11.15 morning raid by patrolling marine police on Wednesday (29 Nov) in waters between Banggi and Bangsi Islands.
