The cooking oil and petrol seized by Marine Police.
SEMPORNA: Marine Police Force (MPF) on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle out cooking oil and petrol near the Kampung Kuala Bibang coastal areas.
In the 6.30pm incident, the team discovered pile of boxes and barrels during Op Taring Gelora Khas.

Upon inspection, the team found 120 boxes containing cooking oil and 10 barrels containing petrol which were abandoned in the areas.
The items were believed to be smuggled out to a neighbouring country.
Sabah Region Four MPF Commander, ACP Ahmad Ariffin said the items were taken to the Semporna MPF base for further investigation under the Control of Supply Act 1961.
He added that the seizures were estimated worth RM6,000.
