Kota Kinabalu: Sandakan will have eight players qualified for the Sabah Junior Masters tennis tournament scheduled on December 8-10 in Kota Kinabalu at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex.
They will participate in five categories after gathering enough points to finish as the top eight player in each category following the end of the three-leg tour last month.
Sandakan District Tennis Association’s secretary Silvester Lawai, who paid a visit to the players during their training session on Thursday, called on the players to give their best against their opponents from other districts.
He also expressed his gratitude to Sabah Tennis Association president Johnson Koh for his support by showing up at the session.
