Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Audit Department was crowned champion in the 2024 Sabah Finance Cup tournament at Likas Stadium, here, Friday.

The tournament that started on Jan 13, saw intense competition among four teams comprising Sabah Audit Department, Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC), Sabah Ministry of Finance (MoF) and Sabah Treasury Department (Treasury)

During the league matches, Audit secured second place after collecting a total of four points after a win against Treasury, drawing with MoF and losing to SCC.

Audit then had a final kick-off against SCC (who was top of the league) to determine the tournament winner in which their fighting spirit did not waiver as they redeemed themselves to bring home the champion title.

Trophy and medals were presented to the winners by Sabah Audit Department Director Dr Mona Othman and SCC Chief Executive Officer George Taitam Tulas.
