KOTA KINABALU: More than 10,000 people from all walks of life attended the Chinese New Year open house hosted by the State Government and the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS).
The event at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here today was graced by Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and his wife, Toh Puan Norlidah Tan Sri RM Jasni, together with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and his wife, Datuk Juliah Salag.

They were greeted by the main organising chairperson, Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew and other Cabinet ministers.
On arrival, the guest-of-honour and guests were greeted by lion dance performances and a 350-foot Dragon replica at the SICC plaza.
