SANDAKAN: The State Government will organise the state-level Chinese New Year (CNY) and Christmas celebrations starting this year.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said this is part of celebrating diversity in the State, which has been the practice for a long time.

"It is also a medium to foster and maintain harmony as well as cooperation among multiracial and multi-religion communities," he said while officiating the district-level Chinese New Year open house, here, Sunday.
