Tawau bouncer injured in bid to stop dispute
Jasmin said the incident occurred about 2.45am when a verbal disagreement between two groups began in the hallway area of a building at Fajar Complex. 
TAWAU: A bouncer was injured while attempting to break up a dispute between two groups at an entertainment outlet here on Sunday. 

Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the 56-year-old Indonesian is being treated at Tawau Hospital. 

He said the incident occurred about 2.45am when a verbal disagreement between two groups began in the hallway area of a building at Fajar Complex. 

The man attempted to stop the argument between the parties when an unknown man slashed him, injuring his head and arms. 

A police report was lodged by a 32-year-old local who said his uncle (victim) was hospitalised. 

The police report was lodged at 5.42pm after the victim related the incident to the man. 

Police are currently looking for the suspect involved in the case.
