RANAU: Ranau District Education Officer, Barizah Binti Mohd Kahar praised the improvement by private kindergarten institutions in the district.

They were urged to continue their excellence work in the future.

“Congratulations to 11 schools for being able to join and congratulations to these good and intelligent children who will be entering year 1 in March 2024.

Congratulations for successfully completing their studies with such excellence.

“A total of 148 kindergarten pupils from all over the Ranau district received their Kindergarten Completion Certificate this time and on this occasion I would like to congratulate and thank all the pupils who will receive their certificates this time.

“In the same way, many thanks to the parents, teachers, all the people of Private Educational Institutions in Ranau District and also the event’s committee who have worked hard to ensure that our programme this time runs smoothly,” she said, when officiating the Kindergarten Completion Certificate Presentation Ceremony of the 8th Ranau District Association of Private Kindergartens at the Ranau Community Hall recently.

She added that the Malaysian Ministry of Education’s desire for Private Educational Institutions is clear in increasing student enrolment through initiative #104 and quality IPS management.

“This includes obtaining the relevant permits every year. So congratulations to all private kindergarten operators who have met all the required criteria.

“We really hope that what is contained in the Education Act 1996 can be fully complied with and fulfilled for the operation of Private Educational Institutions, especially private kindergartens in the Ranau district. Congratulations and thank you to all private kindergartens in Ranau district,” she said.

Barizah also emphasized that children are a very important asset in the development of the country, therefore they must have access to education directly or indirectly through educational facilities that will prepare them for experiences that are quite effective in their lives later.

“The experience will have an impact in strengthening individual potential. Therefore, a kindergarten graduation ceremony like this is a place that will form a unique and most valuable learning experience for them.”
