Kota Kinabalu: The much-awaited Sabah Malaysia My Second Home (Sabah MM2H) programme expected to be launched next month is likely to have a major impact on Sabah’s economy especially in the State Capital, said a housing group.
Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) President Datuk Chua Soon Ping said seafront properties will be favourable both in the primary and secondary markets.

Among the Sabah MM2H criteria, he said investors are required to purchase a high-rise residential unit or commercial suite exceeding RM600,000 or landed residential property above RM1 million (completed or under construction).
