One dead as motorcycles crash into divider in Keningau
One of the motorcycles that crashed along Tulid-Sook road in Keningau.
KENINGAU: A man died while another seriously injured when two motorcycles ridden by both victims skidded off the shoulder of the road and hit a divider along Tulid-Sook road, here, early Sunday.

An unidentified male victim was confirmed dead at the scene by the medical officer while another 22-year-old man was seriously injured.

He sustained injuries on the head and left arm.

The injured victim was given initial treatment by the firemen and then taken to the hospital by an ambulance while the deceased was handed over to the police for further action.

Sook Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 1.40am and a total of nine members led by Operations Officer, Ranizan Samirin, rushed to the scene with machinery.

Other agencies involved in the operation were officers of the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) and the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
