Tenom: Police are seeking witnesses in a hit-and-run case involving a black Perodua Aruz and six-year-old boy near the 7-Eleven in town, here, last Wednesday.
Tenom Police Chief DSP Hasan Majid said the victim had sustained injuries to both his legs in the 2.10pm incident.

“Preliminary investigations revealed the victim and his mother had just finished eating at a restaurant.
“The boy ran across the road. The mother only realised what had happened when a crowd started to gather.

“No debris was found at the scene while CCTV recordings of the location are unclear.
“The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said.
