Invite to Nordic US keen on Maliau Basin research
Abidin said it is indeed heartening to witness that wildlife can indeed return to degraded forests, adding the success of the Inikea Project exemplifies that together “we can make a difference with dedication and effort, we can restore these habitats to their former glory.” 
ABIDIN said the Inikea Resources and Wildlife Survey conducted in 2023 was the first survey in the area. 

“This survey has been instrumental in helping us understand the resources and wildlife abundance in the rehabilitated forest. 

“It offers valuable insights broadly and specifically for the INIKEA area, particularly highlighting the significant and critical aspect of rehabilitating disturbed forests,” he added.
