Kota Kinabalu: An 18-year-old was charged with raping his underaged girlfriend.
The teenager pleaded guilty before Sessions Court Judge Amir Shah Amir Hassan to two charges against him.
However, the court deferred sentencing to June 10 as the court wanted the social report to be prepared for the teenager.
The court also fixed the same date for facts of the case.
On the first count, the teenager is accused of raping the 15-year-old girl at 12.30pm on June 19, last year at a hut near the beach in Papar.
On the second count, he allegedly raped the same girl at 4am on Nov 13, last year at the same place.
The offence under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping, on conviction.
Earlier, the prosecution offered no bail to the teenager pending the date.
The teenager also told the court he has nothing to say.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Shafeerah Mad Iskim prosecuted while the teenager was not represented.
In another court, a 26-year-old Filipino claimed trial to having a machete in public without a permit.
Bucoi Ahmad made the plea after the charge was read to him.
He is accused of having the weapon at 11.48am on April 12 at the Prima Manggatal construction site, near here.
The court set June 11 for pre-trial case management and no bail was offered to Bucoi.
