Kota Kinabalu: Women entrepreneurs should seize opportunities through programmes that are established by organisations or associations in further enhancing their businesses as an initiative to uplift their livelihoods.
Chief Minister’s wife, Datin Seri Datuk Juliah Salag, said participation from entrepreneurs in events or programmes that are carried out by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) is an apt move to provide them with exposure and experience that would help promote their products.
She said there are various small entrepreneurs, particularly women, that are capable and talented in producing products that could make its way to market shelves, but they will require “proper” introductions that can be carried out through programme involvement.
With existing programmes implemented by NGOs or other organisations, she said it would help women entrepreneurs to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge that would contribute in boosting their product image.
