‘Terminated without notice’

In this regard, Jafery urged the DAP’s Kepayan DUN office to be more fair to those who were terminated.
PENAMPANG: Two village chiefs and a Kapitan Cina under the Kepayan State constituency claim they were terminated from their respective positions without any notice.
They said they only realised this after not receiving their monthly allowances since last month and upon checking found that the payments were stopped.

Kepayan Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) senior leader Jafery Jomion said he had previously proposed their appointments as village chiefs under Star’s quota after the last State Election.
“However, I have received complaints from them including the Penampang District Chief OKK Charles Mosuil himself who disagreed with the manner of termination without any notice or discussion with the component party leaders of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS),” he said in a statement, Sunday.
