RANAU: Police are tracking down three local girls who went out of their homes to participate in a silat training but failed to return home after the event.

The girls were last spotted while getting into a vehicle bearing a fake plate number on Monday.

Two of the girls, Christivy Holyen Hamdy and Roxanne Abbygail Richard, are 12 years old; while the third one, Valensia Mail, is 15.

The girls left home on May 10 at approximately 7.30pm to attend a silat training at SMK Ulu Sugut Ranau, police said, adding a police report was made on May 13.

“The last location they were seen was in Pekan Ranau on May 13, 2024 around 8.30am when they were getting off a white mini bus and were picked up by a man riding in a Perodua Viva with a fake registration number,” police said in a message.

Those with information are advised to contact the investigation officer, Sgt Callixtus Mila @ Joeanis, at 013-2956467.
