Swepa’s International Women’s Conference 
SABAH Women Entrepreneurs & Professionals Association (Swepa) received support from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor on its International Women’s Conference scheduled for August 14 and 15 this year, at the Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu.

Swepa President Karen Wong said Hajiji pledged his support to the association when it paid a courtesy call on him on May 13.

“The event aims to empower women entrepreneurs and professionals across various sectors encompassing professional development, addressing global challenges, fostering networks and partnerships and facilitating cultural exchange,” she said.

Themed “Empowering Women Leaders, Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future, some 500 participants comprising women and male entrepreneurs, professionals, government officials, management leaders and executives will be attending the event.
