Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) announced the appointment of Mohd Azlan Saleh bin Abd Salam as the new Chairman of the Sabah Chapter for the 2023-2025 term.
This appointment was finalised at the 5th Matta Executive Council Meeting, on May 18, and will take effect immediately.
Azlan pledged to harness Sabah’s tourism potential.
“Sabah holds immense potential for tourism. I am excited to work with our dedicated team to further our objectives and make a positive difference in the community,” he said.
“I will strive to create more business opportunities for our members and protect their interests with the relevant authorities.”
Under Azlan’s leadership, the Sabah Chapter aims to enhance the tourism landscape of Sabah, fostering growth and innovation in the industry while ensuring the welfare and success of its members.
Prior to the appointment, Azlan served as the Deputy Chairman of Matta Sabah Chapter.
Since 2017, he has been an active committee member of the Matta Sabah Chapter and also serves on the Matta Umrah & Hajj sub-committee this current term.
Azlan is currently the Managing Director of Dynamic Tours Travel and Incentives Sdn Bhd.
His extensive background in the tourism industry and commitment to advancing the objectives of Matta make him exceptionally well-equipped to lead the Sabah Chapter towards new heights of success and impact.
