Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s new residential landmark – the 56-storey Jesselton Twin Towers which now rank as the tallest structures in Borneo – almost never saw the light of day.
It’s developer Tan Sri David Chu said it was initially erroneously thought that it would be next to the Yayasan Sabah, now renamed Menara Tun Mustapha after first Governor Tun Mustapha.
“It was a struggle to start the Twin Towers with a total of 819 units prior to January 2019. I was told no builder should construct any building higher than Yayasan Sabah.
