RANAU: A small-scale bun making business can generate a good income and improve the socio-economic status of the family if they worked diligently.
Ranau Chief Parliamentary Liaison Officer, Benedict Gunda, said through such enterprise, a family or small community could also instil unity and cooperation among them.
“Whatever is done will go smoothly if there is consensus among the members. It will lead to beneficial things and setting a precedent to the community.
“Therefore, the business of making buns, especially among housewives and other groups, is highly encouraged because it can also provide income,” he said.
Benedict was speaking at the close of a bun making course and certificate presentation to 10 participants at Kg Kinapulidan Ranau, recently.
He commended the commitment of the Moginakan Ranau Association which organised the course.
The association used the RM5,000 from the Ranau Parliamentary Office to launch the course, in addition to purchasing a laptop and printer for the association’s activities.
