PUTRAJAYA: Two cases of fallen trees were reported during thunderstorms in the Klang Valley today, though no one was injured.

In Klang, a tree fell on two vehicles driving along Jalan Kapar Batu 6 after it was uprooted, with fire and rescue personnel mobilised at about 3.10pm.

The Selangor fire and rescue department said all four occupants in the cars were unharmed and managed to get out of their vehicles before first responders arrived, Bernama reported.

In Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, a tree collapsed onto some roadside stalls, but there were no reports of injuries.

The KL fire and rescue department said the incident occurred on private land and that the owner will hire workers to clear the tree.
