Sabah’s Bugis want to also play their part

LAHAD DATU: The Sabah Bugis Community Association (PKBS) wants to be an active player in developing and maintaining national harmony.

PKBS President, Dr Arsiah Bahron, said PKBS would compete in a healthy manner to ensure that each member is treated well and able to contribute to the social and economic stability of Malaysia.

She said there is no racial issue in joining an ethnic association because such association is a platform for uniting and safeguarding the welfare of the people.

“In Sabah, there are more than 30 ethnic groups and more than 100 sub-ethnic groups.
